Our Healthy Horse Scheme and Winter Health Care Packages are an ideal way of having a thorough health check and several routine preventative healthcare procedures done during one visit at a discounted price. The following areas of veterinary care and general management relating specifically to you and your horse are included in the packages.  There are optional ‘extras’(*see below for details) that you can add, also at a discounted rate:

 

• General profile of you and your horse
• Flu and/or tetanus vaccination
• Clinical examination of eyes, heart and lungs
•  General blood profile
• Soundness assessment
• Weight check and nutrition advice
• Worming advice

 

Following your health review you will receive a written report from your vet covering all aspects discussed during the visit.

1st October and  31st March for our Winter Healthcare Package

 

£115.00 + VAT for bookings between

1st April and 30th September

• Tape worm blood test
• Worm egg count
•  Detailed worming program specific to you and your horse          
•  Routine dental check and teeth rasp
• Microchipping
•  Herpes vaccination (six monthly boosters)

 

Extras will be charged on an individual basis and will attract a discount when done during a Healthy Horse Scheme visit.
