Ben Wakeling

Ben is our Equine Clinical Director and has been at Wendover Heights since 2003. Ben qualified in 1996 from Glasgow University and then worked at Liphook Equine Hospital for several years, initially as a House Officer for 18 months specialising in Equine Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, and then 3 years in first opinion practice. Ben is particularly interested in poor performance, cardiology and leads our reproductive service. Ben can also be seen on duty at local Point-to-Points and he is also an Official Veterinarian for Equine Exports.

Ben was a keen rider throughout his teens and early 20s but now spends most of his time when not at work supporting his children's sporting activities which includes ponies!
